On this site we constructed a development of 5 apartments and 3 town houses on what was once a large pub car park in the Chester Green area of Derby. Being on the site of an old Roman settlement this entailed an archaeological dig prior to commencement and an archaeologist supervising the foundation excavation unearthing some old Roman artefacts along the way.

This is another example of work carried out for a developer. On this project we had to demolish a double garage and annexe to an existing house. We then added a new garage and utility extension to it and completely refurbished it internally. We were careful to use the existing bricks and roof tiles from the demolished structures to make the extensions appear as they were constructed originally. In the grounds of the existing house we constructed 3 detached and 2 semidetached houses. The planning on the new builds included a clause to build them to a level 3 on the code for sustainable homes which entailed increased insulation levels and energy saving initiatives including solar powered systems

Here we have a site of 8no five bed executive houses on three storeys carried out for a developer. It was very enjoyable to construct this site as it was built to a high specification which drew a high level of praise from all who viewed it.
